11 ways to use Sweet Orange oil
FOR YOUR BODY
It has all the “antis” covered — it is antiseptic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antidepressant, with so many benefits for the body: enhancing your respiratory system, balancing hormones, boosting circulation, relieving muscle aches, toning the skin and soothing digestion.
Indigestion
To calm digestive discomfort and ease constipation, mix:
- 2–3 drops Sweet Orange oil
- 1 tablespoon carrier oil (almond, olive)
Massage clockwise over your stomach. This also increases Vitamin C absorption.
Circulation and lymphatic drainage
Firstly, to detoxify and promote blood flow, mix 2–3 drops with 1 tablespoon carrier oil (almond, olive) and massage towards the heart to flush out toxins. Next, you can also create a detoxifying blend:
- 1–2 drops Sweet Orange oil
- 100ml water
